Record Your Time
As a GWTI tutor, you are required to record and submit the hours you've worked to get paid. If you are a STEMWorks tutor, please contact your supervisor for information on the STEMWorks' timekeeping system.
Report Your Time Through Kronos
GW’s time reporting system, Kronos, is a computer-based system used to document all time worked. The university is required by law to pay all non-exempt employees, including tutors, on an hourly basis.
Be sure to clock in correctly so you can be paid. Contact us at [email protected] or 202-994-6927 to obtain the correct department and position number, as well as the device you should use for recording hours worked.
Submit a Timesheet
In addition to reporting your time in Kronos, you must fill out a timesheet (PDF) and deliver the hard copy to the GW Tutoring Initiative (Rice Hall, 2121 I Street, NW, Suite 403).
Be sure to deliver a timesheet to us every Friday afternoon and have the individuals you tutored sign the sheet.
